Anatomical Study of a Standing Man- Rubens

I am currently working on trying to replicate Ruben's mark. I first sketched out an outline of the figure with the help of a grid for precision, then I began focusing on the details of one body part at a time. When focusing on one part, I first sketch out where the shadows, muscles, tendons, and other body parts are, then I go in with a charcoal stick for the details. The progress of this piece has been quite smooth, but the details throughout the torso of this figure has been challenging for me to accurately replicate.
