After taking the figure drawing lessons with Tommy, I feel I have improved most in my long study drawings. Last year was the first time I had ever attempted a long figure study. This year, I feel that my long figure studies looked a bit more realistic.

During August, I shifted my focus from painting to the mixed media portion. I began with collaging Jimmy's medical documents. Afterwards, I added a blue clear sheet for the water. Lastly, I collaged happy images of Jimmy for the floatie.

In July, I focused entirely on the painting portion. This was hard for me because I am not a painter, but I am fairly pleased with how it turned out. I first did Jimmy's bottom half. Then I worked on the porch and background. Lastly, I did Jimmy's top half.
