Dance Choreographer

Responsibilities: Dance choreographers create movements and patterns for a dance or performance. Their responsibilities include designing a piece, choosing music, picking out the costumes and props, teaching the choreography, later cleaning the choreography, and then ultimately bringing the vision to life on stage.
Required Credentials:
A high level of training and experience
A secondary degree is not necessary, but is very helpful when applying for positions.
Many programs also offer shorter certification processes in dance choreography that are helpful for booking jobs.
